Anyone who knows Vaughn Granlund (12) knows that he loves men. In fact, he loves lots of them. But what happens when they all leave him without a trace? Well, he’s left with nothing but to search for all the men in his life who went missing.
“The first idea that came to mind was following their omega aroma in order to find where they had gone,” Granlund said. “Despite my scouring the school for even a hint of them, I couldn’t find even a single trace of them anywhere. Just as I began to lose all hope, I was drawn to a locker where I found none other than Ray’s hat with a dead rat.”
After that, Granlund went to think of other ways to find his men. He went up and down and all around, climbed the tallest tower (In Columbia Heights) and went to the lowest valley (In Columbia Heights). Still, it was all in vain and to no avail. That was until Vaughn thought of one place he hadn’t yet searched. Underneath the school itself.
“Of course! Someone must have taken them away from me, and their lair has to be under the school!” Granlund said. “I need to go and find them and save them!! I’m coming for you all!”
Granlund then went to the science hallway next to the cafeteria… it was dark and eerie, not a sound could be heard except for the humming of the boiler along with the occasional hissing of pipes. As Granlund was approaching the stairwell, he took a look around to find that there was a brick behind that looked like it could be moved.
“I noticed that it seemed kinda indented, so I tried pushing on it,” Granlund said. “To my surprise, it was just like how it is in the movies: I pushed it in and voila! The wall slid back and opened up a staircase underneath the stairs to get to the tunnels.”
Finally, Granlund could get to wherever his men were, along with whoever took them. He ventured into the tunnels, which were dimly lit, having only the light of the current Instagram Reel he was watching. As he was turning the corner, he came across an area that seemed to have light ahead, an entrance? Maybe where his men were? No way to know but to push forward.
“I noticed that it was definitely not a way out, so I approached carefully and cautiously so as to not make a noise when getting close,” Granlund said. “I peered into the room where the light was coming from, and there I saw them. Well, just two of them, but still!”
Vaughn then snuck in and freed Greyden Sevens and Ray Sum. The three of them then quietly made their way to the stairwell, where Vaughn was then told who took them in the first place. Ray explained that it was all the work of none other than Carly Schultz.
“Of course! Why didn’t it click earlier!” Granlund said. “It makes sense that my arch nemesis would take them away. After that, me, Greyden and Ray went on the search to find the others.”
Vaughn and his two men then went to search where the rest could be, but as soon as they had tried looking around the school’s perimeter, Greyden suggested searching on the roof of the school. They all then went searching for any staff to let them to the roof and someone finally let them up as soon as they heard the cause. And sure enough, once they got to the top, they found them all sitting there.
“Finally, I’ve found them all!” Granlund said. “I was so worried, I thought something bad might’ve happened to them. I was so happy that I went to hug Skyland, Barryl, Friyay, and Maceon when Carly appeared behind me. She had locked the door leading back down to the school, so I had to find a way for all of us to get back down.”
Suddenly, Carly jumped off the roof and flew away with a parachute, leaving Vaughn and his men stuck on the roof. Just when she was out of sight, Friyay suggested that we make a man ladder to get down the roof. They all slowly but surely made their way down, one by one, until they all made it down to the courtyard safely. Once everyone was down, they all made it out and left the school.
“I’m just so glad that all of my men are safe now,” Granlund said. “Once everyone was out, we all went out for ice cream and had a peaceful time. We then proceeded to TP Carly’s house as payback for taking them all.”
In the end, they were all happy, and Vaughn found his men at last. And then he woke up, with Carly by his side, wondering what horrible dream he had due to his trashing and turning all night long.
