Spring sports bloom with Hylander pride!
“For me, it’s not about the game. It’s about the communication between our team.” Keyler Velez (9) said. “What I like the most is getting to talk to new people because it allows me to broaden my friendships and views.”
“So far the season is going pretty well,” team member Xavier Vital Schwartz (10) said. “While there are ups and downs, of course, the throw team [and I] have had a lot of new personal records.”
“Our season was rough,” player Samuel Johnson (10) said. “Our team was trying to gain footing when we haven’t had our own team in so long.”
“My softball year has been going very well, and I have grown so many friendships and have gained so much more experience,” player Corenna DuRose (10) said. “I love seeing all my friends and getting to play with them
“The tennis season went well,” player Fadhel Ahmed (10) said. “We improved many things like our serves, our returns and our positioning in the court.”
“Others should join next year because if we have enough players, then we’ll be able to have a JV [team],” Sophia Hernandez Monroy (9) said. “When starting, it’s harder to catch up with the skill of other players.”
“I had so much fun this season with the team,” Varsity swimmer Annika Nelson (10) said. “Synchro is a great community and such a fun sport. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys the water.”
