Mr. Chris Polley is the staff adviser for The Heights Herald. He also teaches English 12, Film Studies, and TV/Media at Columbia Heights High School. This is his fourth year advising the Herald. He could not have guessed that after writing emo music reviews for his own high school paper that he would one day be overseeing a student newspaper himself, but he’s incredibly thankful for the opportunity to teach and guide such talented young writers, photographers, illustrators and editors.
