Fernanda Mendez (she/her) is a senior at Columbia Heights High School, and in her first year as El Heraldo Editor for The Heights Herald, managing all Spanish-language content. Outside of the classroom, she participates in many activities such as soccer, lacrosse, NHS, Speech and Key Club. She is also part of the school choir because she loves to sing and play guitar in her free time.
