Whether you’re feeling hungry, bored or passing the time, there will always be a rock-and-roll way to make yourself something delicious! Check out this homemade burrito recipe—because we all need a little spice in our lives!
Ingredients:
- 2 flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons of your choice of taco meat (ground beef is recommended)
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of chili powder
- 2 teaspoons of taco seasoning
- 4 tablespoons Mexican shredded cheese mix (optional)
Directions:
- Put two tablespoons of taco beef in a pan on low for three minutes.
- Add the eggs to the pan, cracking the eggs on the side of the pan.
- Stir the meat and eggs together. Breaking the yolk and thoroughly combine until fully incorporated.
- Add the spices while the egg is still translucent (chili powder, taco seasoning, and anything of your choosing) and add a thin layer over the eggs.
- After three minutes, break the meat apart and flip it over for another three minutes.
- When it is done on the flip side, add any additional toppings such as cheese, beans, lettuce, etc. Then pour the burrito filling into the tortillas.
- Fold the egg and burrito filling into the tortillas. Be sure to turn off the stove.
Now that you’re done, either share the second burrito with someone else or, like a villain, have it all for yourself. I would describe the meal itself as spicy like a classic soft-shell taco and chili stew without the broth.
