And now…even more new CHHS staff members!

Mr. Ryan Vande Linde is the new Check and Connect teacher, focusing on supporting ninth graders. He attended the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire. He has performed jazz trumpet at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Mr. Julio Batres attended school at Universidad de Sao Carlos, Guatemala. His job at CHHS is to teach Spanish 1 and AP Spanish. He also has two children.

Ms. Maggie Keen did her undergraduate studies at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin and her graduate studies at Simmons University in Boston. Her job at CHHS is teaching in the Special Education department. She has lived and worked in five different states. 

Mr. Andy Hardman attended St. Scholastica located in Duluth, Minnesota. He also has a bachelor's degree in photography, which he often uses. He is the school nurse this year.

Ms. Crystal Vital-Schwartz went to school at Loras College at Dubuque, Iowa. Her job at CHHS is Activities Facilitator, and she used to be a Check and Connect teacher at the high school, so this is her return to Heights. She also has a pet turtle named Tim.

Mr. Isaac Glidden teaches Visual Art: Beginning Drawing and Drawing and Basic Designs. He is also the Virtual Heights teacher for secondary grades in the district. He went to the University of Maine and studied Studio Art and Music, and he also loves to write and record music in his home recording studio.
