Mr. Lee Johannes is a social studies teacher who, unlike most teachers, tends to stay away from using too many websites in his teaching. He teaches on Zoom with a small amount of help from Google Classroom. Johannes encourages authentic discussion among students in his classes. He focuses on “maintaining the humanity of teaching, even in the digital environment.” Johannes keeps his classes loose with open-ended questions and an overall positive and supportive environment.
