Speech Team

The Speech team specializes in competitive public speaking. Being a part of the team  allows students not only a chance to perform and speak about current events and important issues, but also the opportunity to compete in tournaments against other students from around the state. The biggest benefit overall: public speaking improvement. Last year, almost everyone on the team placed at a tournament. Not only that, the team was able to secure first place at Zimmerman, one of their regular-season invitational tournaments. Ms. Rachel Mann loves watching her students grow and hopes they find success throughout the season whether it is from placing in a tournament or even memorizing a speech.
